Hotel rules

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. For security purposes, certain common areas and spaces are monitored by video cameras.

  2. Guests must follow hotel rules and must not disturb others (avoid making noise, harassing, using offensive language, smoking in prohibited areas, etc.). The hotel reserves the right to immediately evict any guest who violates these rules. Payments made for accommodation and services are non-refundable, and security or police may be called if necessary.

  3. The registered guest who has received the room key is responsible for any consequences resulting from ignorance or violation of these rules by themselves and/or by guests accompanying them.

  4. Hotel staff reserve the right to refuse entry to individuals whose behavior is inappropriate, may disturb order, pose a threat to the safety of other guests, or violates public order, morality, or accepted social norms.

  5. Guests must comply with fire safety regulations.

  6. The hotel administration is not responsible for valuables or money left in rooms.

  7. Items left or forgotten in rooms are stored in the hotel’s lost-and-found.

  8. Guests are required to reimburse the hotel for any material damage caused by them or persons invited by them. Damages are assessed by hotel administration.

  9. Any disputes are resolved through negotiation; if unsuccessful, according to the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

GUEST ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

  1. Guests are welcomed from 15:00 on the day of arrival stated in the reservation and must check out by 12:00 on the day of departure.

  2. Guests wishing to arrive or depart at times other than those specified must arrange this in advance with reception staff.

  3. Guests wishing to extend their stay—i.e., choose a late check-out until 16:00—must pay ½ of the daily rate; after 16:00, the full daily rate applies.

  4. Upon departure, guests must return their key to the hotel administrator.

  5. Guests without a prior reservation must leave a €50 deposit upon check-in and guarantee their stay with a credit card.

ACCOMODATION

  1. During registration, the guest must present a valid identity document and fill in the registration card.

  2. Only persons registered with the hotel administration may stay in the rooms. Guests must pay for all persons actually staying in the room. The guest is responsible for the behavior of everyone staying in their room and for compliance with these rules.

  3. Gathering in groups, partying, or making noise in rooms is strictly prohibited.

  4. Smoking is prohibited indoors. The fine for smoking in rooms is €100.

  5. Rooms are cleaned daily from 9:00 to 15:00. Room cleaning service is provided only when the green card is hung on the outside of the room door.

  6. All items consumed from the minibar must be paid for upon departure. Please inform reception about consumed minibar items when checking out. Hotel staff reserve the right to inspect the room upon departure.

  7. For guests’ convenience, any equipment or technical malfunctions should be reported to reception.

WORKING HOURS / QUIET HOURS

  1. Hotel “KAUNAS” operates 24/7.

  2. Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 6:00. Please respect the rest of your neighbors. If something disturbs your rest, inform reception. During quiet hours, it is forbidden to make noise, shout, talk loudly, play loud music, or otherwise disturb guests who are resting.

PAYMENT FOR SERVICES

  1. Individuals may pay in cash (EUR) or with Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, Eurocard, or American Express cards.

CHILDREN

  1. Minors may use the services of Hotel “KAUNAS” only when accompanied by supervising adults, who are responsible for their safety.

  2. An adult is a person aged 18 or older, who assumes full responsibility for the behavior of accompanying children, compliance with these rules, and proper supervision of children’s belongings.

PETS

  1. The hotel charges €25 per night per pet. The fee is set by hotel administration.

MEALS

  1. Breakfast is served on weekdays from 7:00 to 10:00, and on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and public holidays from 8:00 to 11:00.

CAR PARKING

  1. Guests of Hotel “KAUNAS” are charged €5 per stay for a parking space. Parking spaces are limited and cannot be reserved in advance. Unauthorized persons may not park in the hotel parking area.
